Things To Do
Corbridge is a beautiful English village whose history dates back to Roman Britain. It has the historic St Andrew's church which still has remains that date to 774 AD, is right on the river for some idyllic riverbank walks, and has more than enough pubs, restaurants and cafes to cater for all needs. It is also an easy drive away from numerous fantastic landscape walks along Hadrian's Wall, and across numerous Roman Fort sites such as Vindolanda.
Newcastle's railway station is 30 minutes drive and also connects to Corbridge station which is 5 mins walk from the cottage. It is the perfect base to explore the fabulous surrounding areas from Hadrian's Wall to Hexham Abbey or simply enjoy a picturesque village with fine dining and boutique shops.
